WHO AM I?
Welcome to Good Measure Soap Kitchen! I am Katie Chaney, the owner and artisan. This business had been a far off dream for quite a while, but I finally decided to take the plunge, and I'm so glad I did. My goal is to not only produce quality products, but those that are beautiful, smell amazing, and showcase my creative side. I hope you enjoy browsing through my shop and exploring the home fragrance choices our Meltaways offer along with bathtubs full of soapy handcrafted possibilities for gifts, decor, and a pampered bath or shower time experience.
MY INSPIRATION
Many of my soap and wax meltaway designs and names lend their roots to the days spent growing up on my grandparents' farm. Even the name of my business came about because of my grandfather's favorite scripture, Matthew 7 and Luke 6.. My husband and 2 adult children continue to inspire me daily with design and fandom ideas, encouragement, suggestions, and their belief in my abilities to make this happen.
